Winehouse for Fred Perry Autumn/Winter 2011 - the posthumous collection

Walking past my local Fred Perry store today I got a shock as I saw a Amy Winehouse Autumn/Winter 2011 collection displayed. With Amy as a paper doll with various cut out pieces from the collection to ''dress Amy.'' Sorry but am I the only one who thinks it may be just a tad too soon? She only passed away two weeks ago and the cause of death is yet to be confirmed due to the toxicology results which are still ongoing.

A statement for WWD from Mitch Amy's Daddio said 'When Fred Perry came to us to ask what we would like to do with the new collection it was natural to continue. Amy loved working on both collections and would want them to be made available.'' So maybe it was what she would have wanted so her fans could share her legacy?

I understand the partnership had another three collections at the ready but is this just a tad too soon? Maybe it will be iconic and go down well with the now deceased singers fans and generate ALOT of press attention for Fred Perry, I for one just think it is far too soon after her passing.

But, like that fees from the collection will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundatation. Nice touch there eh Fred Perry?

Parisian Vogue (2008) editiorial -  L'idole featuring Isabeli Fontana as Winehouse just shows her impact on the fashion industry when she was in her heigh day.

'' Where's my Blakey?''
Anyone remember that feature in the Heat Xmas special circa 2008 (when it still used to be good) of Where's Wino? Ahhh the good days. If anyone still has that issue frame it for me, thanks.

RIP, Wino, RIP.
